Preparing for the treatment:

Scarlet RF treatments don’t need any special preparation before your visit. However, this is a medical treatment, so a consultation with our team is strongly recommended.

Ask us about starting your Clayton Shagal collagen & elastin use 14-30 days before your treatment. Pre-treating with this system will significantly increase your results.

A series of Endermologie will also enhance the benefits of this treatment. Endermologie increases your own body’s production of collagen by 100%, elastin by 46%, and hyaluronic acid by 84%. This alone will increase hydration in your tissues so much that the Scarlet’s RF will penetrate much more efficiently into tissue because of the high conductivity.

Endermologie is by far our most provided treatment in the clinic! It is a standalone option for those who do not want any pain with their corrective services.

When will I see results?

Although visible tightening results come immediately, the results of dermal correction appear over time as collagen and elastin fibres regenerate. Most patients see measurable results gradually over 2-3 months. A minimum of three sessions is recommended every 4-8 weeks for optimal results. These results may last six months to a year, depending on lifestyle, home care, and general skin condition. Touch-up procedures of many kinds, such as Endermologie, can help maintain your results.

The Scarlet treatment tightens skin in the hairline thus helping to correct: forehead wrinkles, drooping eyes, crow’s feet, cheekbones and sagging around the mouth, smile lines, and skin/fat around the jaw – all usually only successfully treatable with surgery.

How long does it take?

Treatments may take approximately one hour for the face and 20 minutes for the neck. Body treatment times depend on the size and condition of the area to be treated. Spot treatments like eyes, upper lip and other similar areas only take about 10 mins to treat. The Scarlet RF treatment is not only time-efficient but revolutionarily effective

Is there post-treatment or downtime?

Scarlet RF is the safest procedure in the spectrum of RF systems because of the NA Effect (see below), so there is little to no downtime and no side effects. Redness and some swelling can be expected, for just a few hours after your treatment. Both should only be mild. Your face may feel warm like you have a mild sunburn. Gentle skin and/or hair care is all that’s needed in the days after the procedure. Most patients return to their regular activities the day after treatment.

Scalp treatment:  slight pulling or tugging/tightening sensation for a few days. A post-treatment care sheet will be provided for all Scarlet RF services.

The Scarlet RF Science:

Scarlet RF uses minimally invasive, gold, non-insulated, microneedling electrode technology, which coagulates deep in the dermis. Precisely controlled RF energy penetrates the needles applying the energy in the dermis first, then at varying depths up to the surface. Treatment depth, power, and modes are monitored and modified to each patient’s individual skin concerns and tissue integrity during treatment for personalized results. Overall dermal health is improved and restored by reconnecting the essential components of healthy, youthful skin—volumetric collagen and elastin. The teardrop shape of energy delivered below the skin is what makes this treatment so effective and different. The “Na effect” by renowned doctor and scientist Jongju Na was able to find this stand-alone method for the safest and most effective RF treatment. Proven science behind the Na effect has traditional facelifts on the decline.

Is combo therapy a good idea?

Depending on expected results … YES. We might suggest combining complementary options such as Botox, Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), and dermal fillers.

We strongly advise enhancing your results with Endermoligie, Alumier peels, and our recommended home care regime for picture-worthy results.
