IPL PhotoFacial

Using Radio Frequency (RF) which pulls the light energy deeper into the skin without causing damage to the surface of the skin

“I noticed a big difference almost right away. My brown spots are almost gone!”

Remove Brown spots, reduce wrinkles and scarring

Our IPL is different than most others out there because it also uses Radio Frequency (RF) which pulls the light energy deeper into the skin without causing damage to the surface of the skin.

The Candela elōs Plus® helps with:

  1. Sun damage
  2. Redness, flushing and small veins
  3. Rosacea
  4. Red discolouration and enlarged pores caused by acne
  5. Brown pigmentation, age spots and freckles
  6. A dull complexion
  7. Fine lines and mild scarring

Your skin will appear smoother and firmer. You will notice improved tone and texure (including acne scarring), more even skin colour with reduced pore sizes and softer fine lines.

Pain-free, non-invasive, results that will last.

The elōs Plus® device is a revolutionary step forward for aesthetic medicine. It combines optical (laser or pulsed light) and radio frequency (RF) energies to deliver comfortable treatments.
The elōs Plus device is the only system to provide unique, three-layered skin protection:
  • RF reduces optical energy requirements to moderate skin heating and allow a deeper penetration of heat
  • Active Dermal Monitoring (ADM) immediately signals skin impedance changes
  • Sapphire contact cooling improves patient comfort
Contraindications are but not limited to:
unprotected sun exposure, pregnancy, active infections or serious disease, Accutane use in the last 6 months, Vitamin A acids (retinoic acid, glycolic acid, tretinoin (Retin-A), Accutane, alpha-hydroxy acids) used within 60 days of treatment, photosensitizing medications, presence of a pacemaker, presence of surgical metal pins or plates under the skin of treatment area.

Risks and side affects: skin redness, tenderness and swelling 48 hours to one week post-treatment, bruising (encouraged by the use of aspirin, ibuprofen, or Aleve within one week of treatment), blisters and burns (rare), unwanted changes in pigmentation (white or dark patches), more likely to occur in dark-skinned or tanned individuals, scabbing (common with brown spots, which are supposed to rise to the surface, crust over and eventually flake off)

Beauty begins the moment you decide to be yourself.
